The Head Extreme Pro 2025 is Arturo Coello’s racket, which says enough. It is built for players finishing points with overheads and viboras, not players still finding their style. In the Extreme line, Pro leads on power; Motion is the allrounder, Team the accessible version.

The Head Extreme Pro 2025 weighs 370 grams, has a diamond shape and high 270mm balance. Its UD Carbon frame is reinforced with Auxetic 2.0 technology, core is Power Foam (EVA), face is 16K carbon with Extreme Spin texture, and profile is 38mm. Playing surface is 494 cm².

Compare directly with Extreme Motion: 360g, diamond, head-heavy balance (~270mm). That 10g sounds small but makes Pro noticeably heavier in the hand on net shots and reactive defence.

Arturo Coello plays this racket at World Padel Tour level. It is his choice, not the racket he started with.

Head Extreme Pro 2025’s power is the clearest finding in this review: two independent sources give 10/10; a third describes strong momentum on attacking shots. Overheads, viboras, smashes: it generates momentum on every well-timed attacking ball.

Defence reveals more than the profile promises. For a high-balance 370g diamond, you expect a split: explosive attack, heavy defence. Power Foam core softens at low speeds, making lobs and balls under pressure more accessible than geometry suggests. It is not the line’s best defender; Motion and Team are more forgiving, but Pro holds its own defensively.

Comfort assessments differ. One source calls Extreme Pro “the most balanced and comfortable of the three Extreme models”. Another warns that firm playing character can cause arm fatigue in sensitive players. These source observations do not support a general comfort guarantee. Our weighted comfort score is 7/10.

Sweet spot is 8/10, generous for a diamond but smaller than Motion (9/10). Off-centre contact feels clearly different. This is the price of high balance and power: you need clean contact more often and feel it sooner when you miss.

Extreme Pro is intended for experienced to expert attackers at KNLTB 3–5. You must be comfortable with a heavier racket (370g, high balance) and an attacking style centred on smash and overhead.

Extreme Pro is diamond-shaped, 370g, high balance (270mm), more power, smaller sweet spot. Extreme Motion is also diamond-shaped, 360g, head-heavy balance, attacking, softer, with larger sweet spot (9/10). Motion is the better choice for KNLTB 5–6; Pro for players prioritising maximum attacking power over forgiveness.

Source analysis includes both a positive comfort assessment and a warning about arm fatigue in sensitive players. Weighted comfort score is 7/10: not a comfort racket. With arm or elbow complaints, Extreme Pro is not recommended; Extreme Motion or Extreme Team has a more accessible profile.

At the time of research (June 2026), Dutch retailer prices ranged from around €200 to €240, below the recommended retail price of €280. Prices may vary; check current retailer prices.

Both are power diamonds in the same segment. Head Extreme Pro has better defensive performance; its core softens at low speeds. Bullpadel Hack 03 is stiffer and more explosive in pure attack. Choose Pro if defence also matters; Hack 03 for a purer attacking-power focus.

Advantages & considerations

Advantages

Maximum attacking power in the Extreme line, weighted power 10/10 based on three independent sources

Surprisingly good defence for a diamond, core softens at low speeds

High control on attacking balls, direct, precise feedback (9/10)

Auxetic 2.0 provides energy transfer and feel despite stiffness

Considerations

370g with high balance (270mm), feels noticeably heavier than Extreme Motion (360g)

Smaller sweet spot than Motion, diamond shape penalises off-centre contact (6/10 forgiveness)

Arm loading from poor smash timing is a real concern for sensitive players

What will you notice on court?

What you will notice as a player

The smash gets plenty of easy power; you do not need a full follow-through to put the ball away.

You place the ball very precisely; controlling rallies, playing cross-court and finding the corners feels predictable.

Off-center contact is penalized: hitting just outside the sweet spot loses power and control.

Small timing errors show sooner: the ball leaves the face directly, so clean contact matters.

At the net you react a little more slowly: the weight sits forward, so quick adjustments take more effort.

Which shots are affected most?

SituationWhat will you notice?
DefenseReasonable: a calm swing returns most balls off the glass.
VolleyComfortable and stable; aiming is easy and you keep the ball low.
BandejaVery easy to control: the ball stays low and predictable, ideal for controlling the court.
ViboraVery explosive: plenty of speed and bite, a natural shot for this racket.
SmashIts strongest point: maximum power with little effort, sending the ball away like a rocket.
BlockThe forward weight makes quick blocks more demanding than with an agile racket.
Off-center ballReasonably forgiving: outside the sweet spot you lose some speed, while accuracy is largely maintained.
