Forgiving • Control focused • Agile
The Oxdog Pure Court 2026 is a control racket with generous error margins. Round design and soft materials forgive awkward balls, while quick handling and comfortable response help under pressure. You sacrifice finishing power: flat-feeling smashes lack top speed, but for defense, point construction and rally control it delivers its promise.
The Pure Court 2026 has a hybrid shape, weighs 365 grams and uses fiberglass layers over EVA Soft. The carbon frame provides structure without excessive stiffness, while soft materials give comfortable, elastic contact. Hybrid shape keeps the sweetspot broad and central, penalizing errors less. Medium balance retains agility without sacrificing overhead stability. Rough surface helps spin on bandejas and low viboras, although output is not extreme. Four silicone inserts under the grip and PowerRibs frame reinforcements dampen vibrations and stabilize construction. RBS (a removable eight-gram cap weight) allows balance and weight adjustment, although most players should find the standard setting fine.
Baseline defense feels immediately easy. Lobs require little effort with good length, while blocks feel clean and predictable. It absorbs enough to keep the ball in play, returning useful depth especially under pressure. A large sweetspot is particularly pleasant on wall rebounds: even messy contact stays playable. Brute force is absent. Finishing from the back by driving through the court feels limited. At the net, the Pure Court 2026 is quick and tidy. Exchanges flow because it positions easily without fighting the hand. Short blocks and soft hands work well, keeping balls low. Acceleration is less convincing: controlled, even restrained response means placement and timing win points rather than heavy pace. Fine for rally control, less satisfying for raw aggressive finishes. Smash reveals its ceiling. Flat smashes lack an attacking shape's punch, requiring more effort than usual for clean finishing power. It helps direction and touch more than maximum output. Not for players using smashes as a weapon.
For players prioritizing defense, point construction and control over raw force. Friendly and forgiving, with considerable help in long rallies and under pressure.
Smash is its weakest point. Flat finishes lack punch, requiring more effort for the finishing power of offensive rackets. It helps direction and spin more than maximum output.
Advantages
An unusually large sweetspot keeps awkward, late or stretched balls controllable.
Precise direction without excessive effort in short exchanges and defense.
Quick movement and direct reactions at the net without heavy feel.
Easy lobs with good length and pressure-absorbing blocks without overswinging.
Considerations
Little free back-court power; forcing play from the baseline takes considerable effort.
Flat smashes lack the impact needed to force points, requiring harder work for equal output.
Despite reasonable cushioning, hard impacts sometimes feel somewhat jarring in the head.
What you will notice as a player
The racket helps in defense: a calm swing sends balls off the glass deep again.
A balanced racket that responds predictably in most situations.
No pronounced weakness, but no single shot where the racket particularly stands out either.
Which shots are affected most?

| Bandeja | Very easy to control: the ball stays low and predictable, ideal for controlling the court. |
| Vibora | It works, but speed and bite must mostly come from your own technique. |
| Smash | Enough power, but you still need to put considerable effort into the swing. |
| Block | Stable: the racket is ready in time and returns the ball with control. |
| Off-center ball | Forgiving: just outside the sweet spot you lose little and the ball stays on course. |
