Asics · Shoe review
Asics GEL-Challenger 15 Padel
A stable all-round padel shoe with WINGWALL support and a secure wrap during lateral movements.
Targeted stability and durability make the GEL-Challenger 15 Padel a strong choice for regular all-round players.
Players with some experience and those who have good control of their technique, with regular-width feet and a preference for a secure, stable feel.
Strengths
Limitations
The Asics GEL-Challenger 15 Padel is aimed at players who value stability and support over an extremely light feel. WINGWALL and DYNALACING help keep the foot in place when pushing off and braking, while the full-length padel outsole provides a broad contact area. This makes it a logical step between entry-level models and the premium GEL-Resolution X.
Main strength
WINGWALL and DYNALACING provide targeted stability without making the shoe feel unnecessarily stiff.
Main limitation
The ventilated upper and targeted cushioning are good, but they are not this model’s speciality.
