The Head Coello Pro 2026 is the most advanced attacking racket in the Head line, successor to the award-winning Delta Pro, now with a Red Power Foam core. Power 10, comfort 8. Arturo Coello's 2026 weapon.
The Head Coello Pro 2026 weighs 370–380g, diamond shape, high balance (280mm). Profile 38mm. Face: 18K Aluminized Carbon. Core: Red Power Foam. Frame: Carbon.
Head Coello line 2026:
| Model | Face | Core | Balance | Weight | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coello Pro 2026 | 18K Aluminized Carbon | Red Power Foam | High 280mm | 370–380g | ~€288 |
| Coello Motion 2026 | 12K Carbon | Red Power Foam | Medium-high | 355–370g | ~€199 |
| Coello Team 2026 | 3K Carbon | EVA Foam | Medium | 350–365g | ~€139 |
The distinction from the 2025 version: 18K aluminized carbon replaces the earlier 12K face, and Red Power Foam replaces standard Power Foam. Both upgrades point in the same direction, more stiffness, more energy transfer.
Technologies:
- 18K Aluminized Carbon, higher fibre density with aluminium coating for maximum stiffness
- Red Power Foam, a stiffer EVA variant optimised for energy transfer on smashes
- SpiralFibers Technology, diagonal carbon fibres for torsional stability
- Power Zone, reinforced sidewalls for better contact response outside the sweet spot
Power 10 is the highest attacking score, the Coello Pro 2026 is designed to deliver maximum energy transfer. Red Power Foam is stiffer than standard Power Foam and provides an explosive, direct response on overheads.
Comfort is rated 8/10, notably high for a diamond with high balance. Head's Power Foam technology absorbs a significant share of the vibrations that normally come through harshly with 18K carbon. Compared with other 18K models in this segment, the Coello Pro is noticeably more comfortable.
Sweet spot is rated 7/10, smaller than teardrop or round shapes, but large for a diamond. SpiralFibers technology provides extra stability on off-centre contact. High balance requires a controlled swing, taking extra effort in quick exchanges.
Manoeuvrability is rated 7/10. Weight (370–380g) and high balance (280mm) do not make this a light racket. Players frequently at the net needing quick blocks are better off with the Coello Motion.
The 2026 has Red Power Foam instead of EVA High Memory. Red Power Foam has higher rebound efficiency and provides comfort 8 (vs. 6 on the 2025 version). Power remains 10/10. If you found the 2025 too hard: the 2026 is the better choice.
No. Diamond shape, high balance and 370g+ are intended for expert attackers with developed overhead technique. Beginners are better off with a teardrop or round model.
Advantages
Red Power Foam core, softer than EVA High Memory but with higher rebound efficiency for explosive smashes
Auxetic 2.0 significantly enlarges the sweet spot for a diamond racket
Comfort 8 is exceptionally high for a power diamond with this attacking profile
Arturo Coello world #1 signature, direct professional circuit specifications
Considerations
Diamond shape with high balance requires overhead technique, not for beginners or defensive players
370–380g and high balance limit manoeuvrability (7/10) in quick net exchanges
Higher price than the 2025 version
What you will notice as a player
The smash gets plenty of easy power; you do not need a full follow-through to put the ball away.
A balanced racket that responds predictably in most situations.
The racket offers little help in defense; returning balls off the glass takes considerable effort.
At the net you react a little more slowly: the weight sits forward, so quick adjustments take more effort.
Which shots are affected most?
| Situation | What will you notice? |
|---|---|
| Defense | Little help: you must guide balls off the glass and keep them deep yourself. |
| Volley | Comfortable and stable; aiming is easy and you keep the ball low. |
| Bandeja | Very easy to control: the ball stays low and predictable, ideal for controlling the court. |
| Vibora | Very explosive: plenty of speed and bite, a natural shot for this racket. |
| Smash | Its strongest point: maximum power with little effort, sending the ball away like a rocket. |
| Block | The forward weight makes quick blocks more demanding than with an agile racket. |
| Off-center ball | Reasonably forgiving: outside the sweet spot you lose some speed, while accuracy is largely maintained. |
