The Nox AT10 Genius 12K 2025 is Agustín Tapia's AT10-DNA with softer character: 12K carbon (vs stiffer 18K), MLD Black EVA (memory foam core), teardrop shape, balanced balance. Control scores 9/10. Manoeuvrability 9/10. One of the most manoeuvrable control rackets in its segment.

The Nox AT10 Genius 12K 2025 weighs 360–375g with teardrop shape and balanced balance. Face is 12K carbon with Exclusive Spin treatment: sandblasted surface combined with 3D hexagonal patterns to generate spin. MLD Black EVA is memory foam combining elasticity and firmness.

12K vs 18K, the essential distinction: The AT10 line has two versions. 18K has stiffer carbon weave, more direct smash explosiveness and harder feel. 12K is more accessible: softer impact, more forgiving, less arm-intensive. Put directly: "you lose smash explosiveness, but gain suppleness, consistency and accessibility." Deliberate design choices, not compromises.

Pulse System integrates anti-vibration elastic bands in the frame. Custom Grip reduces off-centre vibration by 29% (Nox patent claim). EOS Flap optimises hole distribution for air resistance, similar to ML10 Pro Cup 3K which applied it earlier.

Control is central: 10/10, a maximum rarely seen in this segment. Teardrop shape, balanced balance and memory foam core create a system in which the ball does exactly what you want. No more, no less.

Manoeuvrability is 9/10, also in the highest category. Several sources consistently measure 9.0–9.5/10. Exceptional for an advanced performance racket. Teardrop profile with balanced balance reacts quickly in fast exchanges, defence-to-attack transitions and bandejas on high balls.

Spin, a methodological difference, not a product fault: Standardised spin measurement yields 5.0/10 for topspin production. Playing reviewers rate slice-spin potential at 8.8–9/10. Explanation: Exclusive Spin treatment is strong for víbora, bandeja and slice, weaker for heavy topspin. The same methodological gap documented in the ML10 Pro Cup 3K review.

Comfort is 8/10, confirmed by several sources: "significantly less vibration and impact hardness" compared with AT10 18K. Relevant for soft-contact seekers versus stiffer models.

Attacking capability is limited by 12K construction and teardrop shape: less overhead explosiveness than a stiff high-balance diamond. Primarily attacking players should look at Babolat Technical Viper or Head Extreme Pro.

18K has stiffer carbon weave, more attacking force and more direct feel, for experts prioritising explosiveness. 12K is softer, more forgiving and comfortable, for players seeking AT10-DNA without 18K arm intensity.

AT10 12K has strong slice-spin potential through surface treatment. It performs excellently on slice, bandeja and víbora. For heavy topspin-based attacking play, Genius 18K or a dedicated topspin model is better.

Availability is currently limited. The 2026 successor (AT10 Genius 12K XTREM Lite) is now available. Verify current retailer availability.

Manufacturer and reviewers identify experienced through tournament-level players as the primary audience. High control also makes it accessible to good female players (explicitly mentioned by Nox).

What will you notice on court?

What you will notice as a player

At the net you react very quickly: blocks and fast volleys feel almost effortless.

You place the ball very precisely; controlling rallies, playing cross-court and finding the corners feels predictable.

The racket helps in defense: a calm swing sends balls off the glass deep again.

The sweet spot offers forgiveness: slightly imperfect contact loses little accuracy.

No pronounced weakness, but no single shot where the racket particularly stands out either.

Which shots are affected most?
